It’s not everyday that you see ballerinas walking through Downtown Ocala.
While Downtown Ocala is certainly a picturesque destination, with its beautiful old buildings and the great Downtown Square, these ballerinas made it even more so, if just for a short time.
Check out the Downtown ballerinas. The Ocala Star Banner captured professional photographers John Jernigan and Sheila Hartley taking photos of two ballerinas for the dancers’ senior portraits.
It’s a common sight to see photographers in Downtown Ocala. At any time in the morning and late afternoon you may see a photographer capturing a romantic moment for a couple at the gazebo or taking photos of a family in front of one of the great brick buildings downtown, or even ballerinas twirling through downtown streets.
And on any given day you’re sure to spot people taking photos of their kids or friends posing with the popular Horse Fever horses on the square. People also like taking photos in front of the Marion Theatre with its cool neon sign, or on the side staircase against the brick wall!
Where is your favorite place in downtown Ocala to take photos? Which spots make a great backdrop or setting for photos?
